Hey you,
Are you prophetic and maybe feeling like you’re at the end of yourself?
There are times when something does not happen the way we expected it to happen and we can feel devastated. We start thinking, ‘was it all wrong, did I imagine stuff? Did I hear right?’ and even, ‘am I prophetic at all?!’ This is his plan, to make us doubt everything that God has ever told us.
It’s confusing and painful but I want to encourage you to guard your heart by reminding yourself who you are in Christ – you are still God’s child and it is no longer you but Christ who lives in you. Get back to the basics, to the simple gospel of Christ for the very spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Christ! We know His will in Christ: to rejoice, to give thanks and to pray with no ceasing.
Here’s the truth: You ARE prophetic and you DO see and hear from God in a special way. Move on, keep coming up higher to the throne room of God and being blunt about how you feel before Him even though it takes courage! It’s okay to lament, it’s okay to cry out to Him. There’s no fear in love, God will never push away the brokenhearted and contrite who just ask for His saving hand. He knows we all need some space to just lash out with our emotions. He is a compassionate God.
I pray for everyone who reads this and is going through the same thing right now that you will receive a comforting touch of the Holy Spirit today. That you will let go of fear and receive refreshment in body, soul and spirit as you encounter Him. The onslaught of the enemy is heavy, I tell you!!! It’s okay, it’s alright. You’re alright. God’s got you.
