Welcome, lovers of God!
I especially welcome all spiritual mothers and fathers who are willing to unite under the purpose of nurturing and equipping the “babies” in the Body of Christ together! You want to stay faithful to the tribe and give up your life for the Kingdom of God and this is why you’re here!

Over the next few weeks we want to ask God to reveal to us the next steps we can take to become more devoted lovers of God! As a starter I want to pray according to 2. Timothy 3:15-17:
Father, I thank you for the Holy Scripture which is God-breathed and able to make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus! We ask you to teach, rebuke, correct and to train us in righteousness, so that we may be thoroughly equipped for every good work and equip others as you have equipped us. We want to love you as you command us first, with all our strength, all our mind and all our heart. Amen.
Today, I want to share one revelation I have had a few days ago about loving God. I am certain that this is a good first step towards becoming more faithful lovers of God; it can be summarized as follows:
“I CANNOT, BUT YOU CAN.”
Do you ever wonder when you will be finally liberated from a certain sin you have been struggling with for decades? Do you feel guilty and condemned because you never seem to be able to break free? Do you get discouraged and feel like God cannot love you the same still? Believe me, I’ve been in the pit of such thoughts. It can be so discouraging when you thought you are over something and then it resurfaces as if it was trying to mock the victories you have had so far.
About a week ago, I was asking God why this happens and I waited a few days for His answer. Then, all of a sudden, I realized that I am still in bondage because I try to love God with my own strength when I cannot! Is the human heart not deceitful? I wasn’t relying on His strength and grace to help me to love Him better but had become self-sufficient and prideful regarding this matter! He needed to take over.
I know that quite a few people need to hear this right now. You have come to the end of yourself. You cannot go further with yourself and your pride. You desire to love Him more but you just cannot. However, this is just the beginning. An exciting adventure awaits us because God has good thoughts for us! Blessed are you when you believe!
Blessed are you when you believe that He will help you love Him more! He gave you faith and He will increase your faith. Amen?
Come, let us surrender and start anew with the refreshing forgiveness which He offers to us! Lead us on a new adventure of drinking from the pleasures of You, my Father, our only one and beautiful King!
I’m excited for this study. You know I am a spiritual mom. Loving God in our own strength, we do try to do everything in our strength. Surrender is hard but so worth it! Abba! Help us all to walk in your strength alone and to love from your strength alone. You are the source of love and nobody can do it better than you!
