The Lord, the Lord is my rock

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
וַיֹּאמַר יְהוָה סַֽלְעִי וּמְצֻדָתִי וּמְפַלְטִי־לִֽי׃

2. Samuel 22:2

Hello, everyone! How have you been doing? It’s been a painful but good and necessary two weeks, going deeper in trust and dependance on the Lord. Do you remember my warning from last month of the bewitching spirit in Galatians 5, and that the countermeasure will be walking by faith in accordance with the Spirit? Three days ago I had another dream where I saw this spirit going from door to door, trying to gain access through anyone living in the house. She said that she was a “servant of the house below” and that she would love to stay in people’s homes [“A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” (Proverbs 25:28)]. She brought in coldness [“And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12)]; foxes would wander around [“Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.” (Song of Solomon 2:15)]; and weariness was visible on the face of the people through whom the spirit had entered. Beware of the temptation to submit again to a yoke of slavery in order to change a person instead of loving them with God’s love! Galatians 5:22-24; it is only by the Spirit that a person’s heart can be changed, not by your works. Here is a prayer to pray with me if you find yourself in a similar situation:

The Lord, the Lord is my rock! Only by His name will we change! Thank you, Father, that in the name of Jesus You will make it happen – not because of what I’ve done, but because of who You are! Get out, you bewitching spirit, for I will use my freedom in Christ to love and serve the people entrusted to me. I am covered by the blood of Jesus and you shall not enter the home of a righteous person. I will bear the fruits of the Spirit for the sake of Jesus, and the Lord is my rock, I shall depend on Him only! He will get me (and _____) through this, and we shall live by faith alone! In Jesus’ name, amen!

This rock never fails.

Bless you, brothers and sisters! Remain steadfast in His love! Keep your eyes on Him!
